Producers are targeting a March 21, 2012, Broadway opening for Magic/Bird, a play chronicling the rivalry between Larry Bird and Magic Johnson from the their college days at Indiana State and Michigan State through their participation on the U.S. Olympic “Dream Team” in 1992, Playbill.com reports. There will be a first preview on Feb. 27.
