She may, famously, not be a witch, but here’s a bit of money magic from former Delaware Republican Senate candidate and recent Mitt Romney endorser Christine O’Donnell: her political campaign gave $142,000 to her super PAC, which proceeded to buy copies of her book.

Federal Election Commission reports filed by her campaign and super PAC this week show that the money her campaign gave to her super PAC represents just under 62 percent of the $229,985 the PAC took in during 2011. $19,912.30 of that money went towards an August 20th purchase labeled “PAC Fundraising Non-Residual Books” from a book shop in Philadelphia.

If this individual abused the political system she should be prosecuted.

I do believe, however, that there are much more egregious cases of campaign funding abuse by political candidates than this one.

Big deal. It's a political game.

If I remember correctly, the US StateDepartment and various embassies purchased about $70,000 dollars worth of Obama books which netted Obama about $7,000 in royalties.

I heard it was likely 6k, but, who's counting?...There is a serious difference in the value of these respective investments, pertaining to the literary and emotional qualities, I'm just assuming.

What's the problem she needed the income to pay a few bills. /s

Most of these pacs seem to have become income sources for the "candidates".

If people are dumb enough to give, well a fool and his money......
